The Northern Rivers Folk Choirs, directed by Peter Lehner,
have inspired tentative singers to become soloists, and local musicians to collaborate with a full size choir.

A tour is organised each year.. last year they went on Stop Adani Convoy! They toured to PNG SEPIK RIVER CROCODILE FESTIVAL in 2018! National Folk Festival, Canberra 2017, Wellington to Christchurch, Aotearoa 2016, sang weekly at Bentley Blockade 2014, Tara Gasfields Qld 2013, and Glen Innes Celtic Festival 2012.
 

they WERE touring  to CUBA, it's still a plan for someday, hopefully in 2 years?!

Locally they are well known for fun, poignant performances at all sorts of community events including Boomerang Festival, Day of The Dead, Living Earth Festival, Lismore Lantern Parade, Mullum Music Festival and O'Heart Festival.

The Healing Voices Choir is an innovative mental health recovery
initiative based in Lismore NSW Australia.
       The choir meets every week for rehearsal, and also performs publicly.
They write their own songs and welcome new members.
