Peter lives in the Northern Rivers region of NSW where he runs CHOIRS, singing classes, psychic circles and hosts a national radio program. He is a passionate speaker on community building, the strength-based approach, and personal healing through creative expression. He has worked extensively with homeless, disadvantaged and indigenous communities.
His many years of experience includes acting and scripting of films, TV, theatre, musical theatre, street-theatre, opera and cabaret shows. Peter has produced and directed several short films, three travelling the world in festivals, one dubbed in Italian!
His acting career included appearances in “Rafferty’s Rules” and “Home & Away”, and in the original Griffin Theatre Company production of “The Boys”, with David Wenham. He was CEO of a successful children’s theatre company, and has taught acting and singing for many years to adults and children at public, private and special schools.
As a Choir Director and singer he's worked with Ruby Hunter, Archie Roach, Jimmy Little, Shane Howard, the Australian Art Orchestra, Angry Anderson, Jonathon Welch, Tony Backhouse, Josh Brogan, Powderfinger, Kate Cebrano, Human Nature, Renee Geyer, Jenny Morris, The Divinyls, Little Patti, Normie Rowe, Mark Trevorrow, Frank Ifield, Julian Clary, The Sydney Street Choir, The Choir of Hard Knocks, Coloured Stone, Jessica Mauboy, and many more amazing performers. He conducted at the Sydney Opera House for the International Choral Symposium. He has toured African American churches in USA, performing gospel music with Cafe of the Gate of Salvation. In 2008, he toured the Northern Territory with Sydney Street Choir, and in 2009 he developed and produced a well received musical theatre production with the Choir at Sydney’s premier theatrical venue: the Belvoir St Theatre.
In 2010, the Universal Peace Federation, a worldwide, non-profit organization founded to advance the cause of peace locally and worldwide, honoured Peter with a “Living for Others” Award. The Sydney Morning Herald chose Peter as one of “Sydney’s Top 100 Influencial People” in 2009. Peter was honoured to receive Lismore’s Australia Day Award for Community Service in 2011.
”Peter helps the tone deaf hear, the mute sing, the mind allow and the heart shine! He has inspired many to trust their voice and sing loudly without inhibition. I love Peter!”
